Welcome to PrepVerse (“Platform”), owned and operated by Diksuchi EduLabs Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data.

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, storage, use, processing, and disclosure of personal information and data generated when you access and use the Platform, including AI mock interviews, resume ATS scoring, MCQ assessments, coding playgrounds, and institutional tracking panels.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, data generated during Platform usage, and information from third-party integrations:

  • Account & Profile Data: Full name, professional email address, secure hashed password, phone number, and user category (Student, College Coordinator, or Company Recruiter).
  • Academic & Professional Information: Uploaded resumes (PDF format), college affiliations, degree plans, graduation year, CGPA, technical skills list, and academic history.
  • Assessment & Behavioral Responses: Video recordings, audio voice tracks, and text transcripts captured during simulated AI mock interviews, as well as test answers, coding submissions, execution logs, and keystroke patterns (used for plagiarism check).
  • Billing & Transactions: Payment status details, Razorpay order IDs, and transaction details. We do not store card numbers or net banking credentials on our servers; all payments are processed through Razorpay in compliance with PCI-DSS.
  • System logs & Device data: IP address, device type, web browser properties, operating system version, page view time, and navigation patterns.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your data strictly to fulfill our contract with you and support educational placement services:

  • To Provide Services: Setting up accounts, running AI voice/video mock feedback sessions, parsing resume keywords, and scoring coding challenges.
  • Institutional Metrics: Sharing candidate scorecards, mock status, and prep metrics with your college placement cell (where applicable) to assist in your campus recruitment drive.
  • Recruitment Matching: With your explicit consent, sharing verified profiles, coding badges, and mock feedback metrics with registered companies looking for talent.
  • Platform Optimization: Improving the accuracy of our AI score evaluations, refining coding environments, and preventing proctoring violations.
  • Transaction Processing: Utilizing transaction IDs to activate subscription licenses and manage subscription renewals.

3. Data Protection and Security

We deploy robust technical and administrative safeguards to keep your personal data secure. Data in transit is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS) technology, and sensitive data stored on our servers is protected using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256). Backup systems are hosted in highly secure Tier-3 cloud data centers. Video mock interviews and text transcripts are stored isolatedly and are never sold, rented, or distributed to any unauthorized advertising agencies.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We share data only with service providers required to perform necessary operations under strict privacy terms:

  • Razorpay: Payment gateway processing for subscriptions.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Managed database services and secure cloud storage.
  • AI Core Models: Transmitting interview audio or code scripts through API integrations (e.g. OpenAI/Gemini) to calculate analytical feedback. Zero user data is processed by third parties for their foundation model training.
  • Legal Obligations: When required by governing laws, national security protocols, or law enforcement search warrants.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as your registered account remains active or as required to fulfill service obligations. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting our support desk. Upon request, all profile details, parsed resumes, and mock interview video links will be permanently deleted from active databases within 30 business days, save for records required to be retained under statutory compliance.
